Burnaby Mountain Park is a popular hiking and mountain biking spot in British Columbia, boasting a large network of trails. With its summit at an elevation of 366 metres, Burnaby Mountain offers great views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore, the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. During Summer, its a perfect place to have a picnic with your loved ones. Just a 20-minute drive from downtown, it is easily accessible. It is also accessible by bus. Best part of it is, there’s no hiking required to get these great eagle eyed views.

The park has lots of looped trails to check out. They are all fairly easy, with minimal gains and elevations. Grab your friends and sweat it out.

Parking can be tough to get, even with the huge space allocated for it. The park gets crowded on a weekend during Summer, so its best to go early to get the most scenic spots. Pack your picnic baskets and you can even do BBQ there with family and friends. It also has a playground for the kids to play while you soak in some nature therapy.

The Centennial Rose Garden hosts beautiful selection of roses in just about every color. Its a great spot for you to take pictures for the gram. These gorgeous flowers added an extra charm to the already beautiful Burnaby Mountain Park. So look out for this garden and have a great time by yourself or with your friends or family.

This would be the most unique area of the park with carved totem poles, striking lots of similarities with the historically famous Stonehenge.
